The Labyrinth of Light: A Winter Feast for the Soul
December 29, 2025 -January 3, 2026| Pokhara, Nepal/ 5 nights, 6 days
This isn’t just a retreat - it’s a soft landing into the new year.
For those who crave quiet over crowds and meaning over noise, come spend New Year’s Eve wrapped in the stillness of the Himalayas. Wake to sunrise yoga beneath the Annapurnas. Wander silent trails. Share fireside reflections. Let gong baths soothe the echoes of the year gone by.
Together, we’ll co-create a sacred labyrinth - a path of release, renewal and return. You’ll be held by wild nature, starry skies and the warmth of shared presence.
Whether you arrive solo or seek soul-rest, this is your invitation to cross the threshold with intention - to begin the year clear, grounded and full of quiet power.
Welcome to The Labyrinth of Light: A New Year’s Journey of Sound & Stillness
Step into stillness. Begin anew. Journey with heart.
Reserve your place today and awaken to a new year wrapped in quiet grace and soulful connection.
Itinerary
Flow through each day with intention, grace and soulful awakening
Day 1 – Arrival & Intention
Descend into the mist-kissed embrace of Pokhara. Find sanctuary in your villa where silence sings and the mountains hold you tenderly. Gather as one, setting quiet intentions beneath shimmering gongs. A feast of earth’s bounty nourishes body and soul.
Here, your journey is whispered into being — in stillness, in ceremony, in heart’s unfolding.
Day 2 – Rooted Ritual & Creative Spirit
Breathe dawn’s breath with gentle pranayama. Move through sacred flows, mindful steps and sound’s healing embrace. In afternoon light, shape devotion in pigment and gold with a master of ancient Thangka art — a sacred dialogue of colour and soul.
Each moment a sacred invitation to presence, creation, and grace.
Day 3 – Sound, Spiral & Renewal
Gather light within, weaving breath and movement in morning’s quiet. Complete the labyrinth spiral — a sanctuary of release and becoming. As dusk falls, gather by fire and gong, offering the old to flames and singing new beginnings into the night’s embrace.
Cross thresholds with open hearts and gentle courage.
Day 4 – Pilgrimage & Forest Whispers
Journey as one to the monastery’s sacred halls where blessings and ancient wisdom unfold. Return to the forest’s cathedral for a gong bath — where vibration and nature’s hush become one, grounding and healing your spirit’s song.
A day woven with devotion, silence, and deep belonging.
Day 5 – Service & Stillness
Step softly into service, offering hands and heart to community, or rest wrapped in the retreat’s gentle arms. Evening brings fireside stories and labyrinth whispers beneath starlit skies.
In giving and receiving, ceremony becomes life’s breath.
Day 6 – Integration & Farewell
Flow in tender movement at dawn. Gather one last time in a circle of sound, memory and blessing. Carry the spiral within — a lightness of being, a fullness of love.
Depart not from the place, but from who you were — into who you are becoming.
The Pavilions Himalayas: Winter’s Whispered Invitation
Where gongs, stars and sacred space conspire to renew you.
This New Year, escape to a hidden sanctuary beneath the Annapurnas — a place where silence speaks and the turning of the year becomes a sacred passage.
For five soul-soaked days, just 25 of us will share this luxury eco-resort. This is ideal for people who are looking for a Nepal retreat luxury category. Your solar-powered villa opens to uninterrupted mountain vistas; each sunrise a quiet blessing.
Mornings begin with organic tea and mist rising over Phewa Lake. Days are spent shaping stone labyrinths in wild gardens — each placement a letting go. As evening falls, we gather by the fire. Gong baths echo through ancient pines while constellations wheel above — the same stars that once guided pilgrims and seekers home. You will also experience one of the best yoga retreat Nepal.
Here, luxury is in the details: handwoven blankets at dawn, forest meditations on hidden trails, and the rare, crystalline silence after snowfall.
This is where years are shed, hearts are steadied, and your next chapter begins — right where your future self is waiting by the fire.
The Labyrinth of Light: A Winter Feast for the Soul
At our New Year’s table, every dish holds intention
Imagine:
Winter vegetables from Pokhara’s fertile fields, slow-roasted with mustard seeds and wild mountain herbs. Golden lentil stews simmer with turmeric and love, served beside woodfired flatbreads still warm from the hearth.
Each meal is a quiet ceremony — Ayurvedic, intentional, and full of life. Think ginger for warmth, toasted cumin for grounding, saffron for clarity.
We eat by firelight, in silence or soft conversation, as the scent of cinnamon and garlic drifts through the crisp Himalayan air.
For dessert? Sticky roasted pears, cardamom cream, and a sprinkle of toasted millet. Pure winter comfort, the Nepali way.

Cody Edene | Founder & Chief Love Officer, The Big Love Retreat
I created this Nepal retreat because I know how hard this time of year can feel. I’ve spent more New Year’s alone than I care to admit - for all sorts of reasons. And I used to wish someone would create a space like this… soft, soulful, held. A place to rest. To begin again gently, not with pressure or fireworks, but with kindness.
So here it is. Labyrinth of Light is for the quietly tired ones. The ones who hold it all together. The ones who are strong for everyone else, but rarely feel held themselves. The ones who want something more honest than champagne and noise.
This retreat is my heart on a plate. Every detail has been thought through with love - not to impress you, but to take care of you.
🍂 If you're craving stillness
🍂 If you want to feel looked after for once
🍂 If you’re ready for a new kind of New YearThen I hope you'll come. And if you're unsure, have questions, or just need someone to talk it through with - message me. I'm here. Truly. Let’s make it work.

Featuring Special Guest: Martha Collard, Master of Sound & Resonance
We are deeply honoured to welcome Martha Collard as the heart of this retreat. A renowned gong master, Kundalini yoga teacher and founder of Red Doors Studio, Martha brings a lifetime of devotion to ancient practices that restore balance, clarity and connection. Her work in sound healing, meditation and sacred geometry has transformed lives across the world - from TEDx stages to the Global Wellness Summit.
At this retreat, Martha will lead daily gong baths - vibrational journeys that soothe the nervous system and awaken inner knowing. But perhaps most profound is her invitation to co-create a labyrinth, a symbolic path of return. With her guidance, we will shape this walking meditation space from the earth beneath our feet, weaving intention into every curve.
To walk a labyrinth is to journey inward. To walk with Martha is to be held in deep presence.
Through her teachings, we invite you to experience ancient wisdom made beautifully accessible—sound, stillness and soul resonance. This is more than a retreat; it is a return to yourself.

Aaditya Chand | Witness to Transformation
Documentary Photography · Himalayan Narrative Craft
Born where the Annapurnas meet the sky, Aaditya Chand approaches his craft with equal parts technical precision and quiet reverence. A graduate of New York Institute of Photography, he specializes in capturing those unguarded moments when the boundary between inner journey and outer landscape dissolves—whether during morning gong sessions, labyrinth walks, or fireside reflections.
His Teaching Offerings:
During the retreat, Aaditya serves as both observer and guide. His documentary work preserves the quiet magic of our shared experience, while his daily Contemplative Photography sessions teach participants to frame their own visual stories through mindful attention. Every image respects the sacred container we create together, with clear agreements about privacy and usage.
Beyond these mountains, Aaditya channels his artistry into social impact as founder of SEOD Charity. The organization provides vocational photography training to Nepali youth, equipping them with skills to document their cultural heritage while creating sustainable livelihoods. His methodology emphasizes ethical storytelling—honoring subjects with the same care he brings to retreat documentation.

Shyam Gurung | Himalayan Yogi & Wisdom Keeper
Hatha Yoga · Anatomy · Sacred Sound
Born in the majestic valleys of Mustang, Shyam’s 20-year journey with yoga began at a quiet Vipassana retreat. Trained across Nepal, Myanmar and India, he is now a senior yoga teacher trainer at Himalayan Yogini, blending:
● The timeless grace of Classical Hatha and Yin with deep anatomical wisdom
● Ancient yogic philosophy woven gently into daily life
● The resonant power of Tibetan singing bowls to deepen meditation
His Teaching Philosophy:
“In the heart of the mountains, yoga reveals its true strength - steady like the peaks that rise above the clouds. Each movement flows like the mountain breeze, grounding the spirit and opening the heart. Yoga here is a dialogue between body and earth, breath and sky, sound and silence.”His Retreat Invitation:
“Begin your year surrounded by the raw beauty of the Himalayas, where every sunrise invites renewal. Here, the mountains hold the strength and stillness we seek within ourselves. This is a sacred place to shed the old and step gently into a fresh beginning. I invite you to join this journey of transformation and peace.”Connect: @himalayan_yogini
